What counts as an electrical emergency?
Sparking, smoke or a burning smell, exposed or damaged wiring, a safety switch that won't reset, no power to all or part of the property, or anything electrical that has been in contact with water. If in doubt, call.
Do you charge an after-hours call-out fee?
There's no daytime call-out fee. After-hours rates apply for night and weekend emergencies, and we'll tell you what they are on the phone before we come out.
What should I do while I wait?
If it's safe to do so, switch off the main switch at the switchboard, keep people away from damaged fittings or wiring and don't touch anything wet. We'll talk you through it when you call.
